Office changes and updates to help keep you safe during in-person visits:
To minimize the number of people in our office, only one doctor is in the office at a time, our staff is reduced, and patient visits are limited to one person at a time. All IVs are given in individual treatment rooms, and we request that you don’t bring friends or family unless they need to be present.
Our doctors wear masks, gloves, and face shields as needed for your protection, our employees also wear masks, and you are required to wear a mask when you arrive and throughout your visit. (Eaton Square management has announced that anyone not wearing a mask will be escorted from the property.) All of our rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your visits, including all counters, doorknobs, and chairs, and all of our employees follow safe hygiene practices, including frequent handwashing. We have installed plexiglass counter shields at our front desk, and we sterilize the bathroom, and all pens or other items that the patient comes into contact with. We also perform and sign off on hourly cleanings of all frequently touched surfaces in the office such as door handles, and countertops.
We schedule in-office visits only if you have no recent history of travel or illness with symptoms that suggest the flu or Covid-19, or have been in contact with anyone who may have had Covid-19. (In these cases, we will need to schedule only tele-visits, not in-office visits.)
If you’ve had a positive Covid-19 test, and have recovered, to be seen in our office our policy is that you need to be 21 days since the onset of your symptoms, or 21 days since you had a positive Covid-19 test (if you had no symptoms). Or you need to show proof that you’ve had two negative Covid-19 tests that are at least 24 hours apart.
If you want to drink water while in the office, please bring your own water bottle. And please dress warmly for your visit, or bring your own blanket or towel. We aren’t able to provide you with one.
We look forward to serving you.
